“If you want to see some sin, forget about Paris and go to Kansas City.”
This quote came from a journalist in the early 1900s who visited Kansas City to see it's nightlife. KC's history is rich, full of culture, crime, incredible art and music, innovation, and a complete flaunting of the rules during Prohibition. Today, Kansas City is still home to an incredible melange of culture, and has big city nightlife with a small town feel (and little traffic!). This color reminds me of sunsets in my hometown, and the waking up of the city after dark. Warm rich golds and amber flirt with peachy-orange and coral pinks, soft lavender, and dark inky midnight black in a random flow of beautiful color. Welcome to the Paris of the Plains!
I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
