This pair of luxurious DK skeins are what some dyers call a "yarn mop": they have been dyed with leftover dyes from other recipes. These beauties are one of a kind, never to be recreated; and while they are close enough to be used in the same project, as with all handdyed yarn, alternating skeins as you craft can create a more even flow of color and break up larger pools of color. The longer color runs can be manipulated into planned pooling if desired; or use a textured or slip stitch pattern to break up colors for a more random flow. The alpaca in this blend gives these skeins a charming fuzzy halo to the softness and the silk makes the colors glow!
