An eerie wind flutters the tattered black sleeve, and a cold stillness spreads in front of the hooded figure. The appearance of the Reaper signals the ending of someone's time on this earth, the separation of the soul from the physical body at the end of life. While many fear the sight of this grim figure, he's really not evil; his job is necessary for the cycle of life to continue, for we all must eventually face death and a rebirth into the next life. This moody color blends a dark heliotrope and rich violet with plenty of inky black, broken by flashes of bright aqua and bits of white peeking through. It's grungey, deep, and meditative. Despite it's grim name, it creates a beautiful flow of peaceful color that revels in the darkness but mixes it with hints of hopeful light.
I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
