“These violent delights have violent ends
And in their triumph die, like fire and powder
Which, as they kiss, consume”
Passion can be the most beautiful and most painful thing you will ever feel. Love can be so close to hate. This deep, complex tonal blend of royal purple, rich violet, passionate grape, and intense heliotrope will inspire you and fuel your passion for creating! With warm purples shifting into cool blue-toned violets, this skein was the end product of a quest to create a color "so purple that it hurts"! I think I achieved it...in the best, most pleasurable way possible, don't you?
With incredible bounce and super soft feel, the Bombshell Worsted weight is sure to become a favorite! 100% superwash merino makes this smooth, round yarn perfect for all types of projects. The luscious 4 ply spin makes this beautiful yarn a little drapey but still strong enough to hold it's shape. When you knit with this lovely fiber, the yarn feels like butter sliding along your needles! Try it for sweaters, wraps, hats, gloves, and baby clothes...even home wares!
Superwash merino makes this yarn an easy care machine washable option. Make sure to use cold water and the gentle setting on your machine. Tumble dry low, or lay flat to dry. You may want to hand wash in cold water to ensure an even longer lasting project. Always test your washing instructions on a swatch!
I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
