Shoot the Moon-Superwash Merino Nylon Fingering-Mad Science Experiment

Potion Yarns

I hate to waste anything. Sometimes, after a long day of dyeing yarn, there will be just a little bit of dye solution or speckles left over: too much to throw away but not enough to save. When that happens, I like to throw some yarn in the dye pot and just play! That's what happened with these 3 beautiful skeins. Because they are using up leftovers in a random pattern with no set recipe, these lovelies will never again be recreated...so grab them while you can! I was so happy with how these turned out. A lively combination of bright sunny yellow, cheery apple red, key lime green, blueberry and soft brown get an exciting dose of multi-colored speckles!

This is a new base yarn I'm testing which blends 85% superwash merino with 15% nylon for strong, stretchy sock yarn that's versatile enough to use on any type of project. Machine washable and great for babies or anyone who doesn't have the time to handwash, this yarn is smooth and the perfect canvas for the exciting colors going on in these skeins.

Machine wash cold on the gentle cycle and tumble dry on the lowest setting. To ensure your project lasts a long time, you may want to hand wash only and lay flat to dry.

I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. This colorway is hand dyed with great precision to ensure no striping and a beautifully random flow of color.

No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation.
