Every girl needs a little black dress in her wardrobe. Since that daring Madame Chanel shocked the world with her casual disregard of tradition and popularized the short black dress as dayware, every modern woman of the 1920s simply must have her own version. Coco Chanel may have started the trend in 1926, but her legacy has endured and almost a hundred years later, the little black dress (or LBD) is a wardrobe staple around the world. A soft blush pink background with flashes of black and gray is scattered with dark pink and golden beige speckles for a girly twist on classic. The juxtaposition of very light shades with dramatic, deep black is a hallmark of 1920s design and provides a random blend of color with short color runs and busy speckles.
I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
