"Ill met by moonlight, proud Titania."
The fairy king, Oberon, in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is a petulant, jealous type of husband, but he has one of my favorite lines. Dark, mysterious, and a tad foreboding, this rich tonal colorway mixes steely lilac with icy heliotrope, smoky blue-violet, gunmetal gray, and deep charcoal. A very cool toned gray-violet, this inky skein is an intriguing mix of shades to create an undulating blend of color: perfect for the powerful magician in you!
Tempting you into luxury, the Seductress Sock will spice up and brighten any project you choose to create! 75% superwash merino, 20% nylon, and 5% stellina, the silvery sparkle of this yarn makes it something extra special to treat yourself to. The twisted ply structure makes it strong enough for socks and high-abrasion projects but the stellina makes it luxurious and delicate for a dressy sweater or extra special cowl.
I recommend hand washing only in a gentle detergent and cold water to avoid damaging the stellina and ensure your project lasts. Lay flat to dry.
I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
