Every groovy young hipster in the Swingin' Sixties London scene knew that the best place to find mod threads was the au courant boutique, I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet. Like the flashy and vibrant clothing of the late 1960s, this skein mixes bright sunny gold with deep teal and intense violet for a heady mix of bright, exuberant color. Handpainted carefully to resist striping, this fabulous skein was part of the Swingin' Sixties collection inspired by the fashion of the Chelsea set in London.

Banshee Fingering is a bouncy, springy 4 ply yarn perfect for all kinds of projects! The smooth, round texture makes it ideal for sweaters, shawls, and accessories, and it's easy care makes it great for baby items! This yarn is sure to become one of your favorites due to it's strong durability...the tight ply structure makes it strong enough for socks without the need for nylon! Unbelievably soft, this yarn is heavenly when worn next to your skin.

Superwash merino makes this yarn an easy care machine washable option. Make sure to use cold water and the gentle setting on your machine. Tumble dry low, or lay flat to dry. Always test your washing instructions on a swatch!

I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
