"Vainly had I sought to borrow, from my books, surcease of sorrow..."

This incredible line from Edgar Allan Poe's most famous poem, The Raven, was the inspiration for this beautiful and enchanting colorway. A lifelong Poe fan, I find his works and the mystery and intrigue surrounding them to be irresistible and have often used his writings and life as inspiration for various artworks, so creating a Poe themed yarn was the perfect project for me.

For this colorway, I chose the vibrant contrast of neon acid green fading into deep emerald and teal against a neutral grayish-brown and deep, inky black and handpainted the colors in short color runs to resist striping and create a random flow of colors across your project.

The Dryad Fingering is elegant and soft, yet never heavy. 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon makes this yarn an affordable luxury that's perfect for sweaters, socks, accessories, and shawls! You'll love the cushiness of this charming yarn. Hand wash only in cold water and lay flat to dry.

I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
