Romantic, elegant, and graceful, Art Nouveau is a blend of watercolor shades that will turn your project into a work of art! Art Nouveau was an artistic style and movement between 1890-1910 that took inspiration from the curving, graceful lines and beautiful colors found in nature. Art, architecture, sculpture, clothing, and furniture all reflected this radiant art form. Inspired by a beautiful Tiffany stained glass door, I created these gorgeous skeins full of life and color. Elegant gold, soft peach, calming aqua blue, graceful lavender, spring green, and rich scarlet blend and flow across the skein. With short runs of pigment, this colorway resists striping and will give a beautiful, random flow of color.

Gaia fingering is a 100% superwash merino wool. The 2-ply spin gives it a tight twist  that makes it strong and durable. The lustrous merino takes color beautifully, resulting in a glowing, rich saturation. This yarn is perfect for a variety of projects including socks, sweaters, shawls, gloves, hats, and baby clothes.

You can machine wash the Gaia fingering on a gentle setting with cold water and tumble dry on the lowest setting. To help your projects retain their shape even longer, you may want hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. Always test washing instructions on a swatch before washing the final project!

I use professional quality acid dyes to ensure vivid colors that will last. No two skeins are identical: if you need more than one skein for your project, be sure to alternate rows to ensure variegation. Please note that each skein is a unique work of art and may not exactly match the photos, but will be very close. I may reskein your yarn before shipping to avoid tangles if necessary.
